The men and women of Sant Feliuen like to live in Sant Feliu and this satisfaction has increased over time. Most people share that our city has improved in recent years and have confidence in our common future (80% are confident that it will improve even more in the coming years).
This is the first conclusion of the survey carried out by the Office of Social Studies and Public Opinion (GESOP), in which 90% of the people surveyed say they are very or quite satisfied with living in Sant Feliu.
The study also indicates that municipal management has the highest rating of the last two decades. The citizens consulted rate the action of the current municipal government with a 6.1, and all municipal services, separately, also receive a score around the remarkable.
When people answer what they like about Sant Feliu, they talk about quality of life, highlighting the quiet atmosphere, good communication, green areas or transport. So, the perception that life is good in Sant Feliu is highlighted in this study, in a city that we have been able to build together, prioritizing social cohesion, livability and a sense of community. A proud city and a citizenry that feels satisfied with what we have achieved together.
But the quality of life is also measured by other factors: it improves the grade in culture and leisure, yes. In equipment, too. But there is another key factor: unemployment is at historic lows. A fundamental element that has a direct influence on people's lives.
Sant Feliu registered a decrease of 38 people in unemployment in June, which represents a drop of 2.2% compared to the previous month. And this is not a one-time event, it is a sustained trend thanks to the tireless work of the City Council's Economic Promotion services, and also to the magnificent work that my colleague Yolanda Díaz is carrying out from the Ministry of Labor, for the benefit of the majority.
More and better employment and quality public services for everyone. Let's go on the right path! And Sant Feliu en Comú Podemos is the guarantee of continuing to move forward with the same values and goals, to further improve the lives of the people of Sant Feliu and to make Sant Feliu an even better city!
