Free public service information service for WhatsApp

Free public service information service for WhatsApp

Citizens have a new free public service information service through the WhatsApp instant messaging app. The City Council will guarantee through this channel the sending of notifications on municipal news, urgent communications or incidents, among other information.

Membership in the service is voluntary and free. To access it, the interested person must add to their contacts the number 626 999 434 with the name Communication City Council and send, via WhatsApp, a message with the word 'HIGH'. The City Council will then respond with a message and a link about the privacy policy and processing of personal data that the user must respond by giving their consent with the word 'YES'. This is an accessible communication channel also designed for people with some type of visual impairment, who will have to follow the same procedure to register, with the only difference of having to answer 'SI.B' to receive the adapted contents. .

From here and at any time, citizens will be able to access the service and unsubscribe from it at any time they wish.

The number works only unidirectionally, it is not a group of interaction between its members or a channel of dialogue with the City Council, and no personalized inquiries or messages will be answered. For this purpose, citizens have other ways to communicate with the administration such as the different municipal social networks , and mobile applications such as Millorem Sant Feliu , JovApp or Citizen Security .
