Grup Yuzz 2017

In 2017, the 5th edition of the Yuzz program was held in Sant Feliu, a program to support young entrepreneurship and which received European recognition as one of the best programs to promote self-employment for young people . With each new edition, novelties and improvements were added that made Yuzz an intense training program, in competition format, and that provided participants with a set of skills and abilities aimed at being able to launch their business ideas.

The most outstanding innovation of this edition was the incorporation of the methodologyLean Start Up in all projects, following the work plan of the team of Néstor Guerra, and that had the ideas prototyped and tested from the beginning and yuzzers projects.

The yuzzers of Sant Feliu were immersed in Lean Start Up by Núria Valero, entrepreneur who won the 2014 edition of yuzz in Tarragona and co-founder of Lazzum together with the yuzzer 2014 in Sant Feliu, Jennifer Baños. Their experience and participation in different entrepreneurship programs that have brought them different prizes and recognitions, such as the 2016 Tourism Entrepreneur Award by the CETT and thesecond award for social entrepreneurship from Barcelona City Council, was an added value for the yuzzers who joined the program this year.

The coordination team was completed with the participation as a local agent that supports entrepreneurial projects of Sergi Moreno, entrepreneur who leads the Creus Coworking in Sant Feliu and who had already collaborated with the last edition of Yuzz by offering his space as one of the local awards for Sant Feliu projects.
