History of the vineyard huts Can Ferriol

Within the grounds of Can Ferriol, 11 vineyard huts of different types have been registered and three of them, as part of the farmhouse building, have been restored.

Ermita La Salud

The chapel was built on a medieval hermitage and was blessed in 1749.


 

Can Parellada

Farmhouse originally from the twelfth century with expansions in the eighteenth century. It is one of the few houses that remains active cultivation.


 

Can Masseguer

This farmhouse located in the Riera de la Salut is one of the oldest in Sant Feliu, as its origins date back to the 10th century. It is currently inaccessible.


 

Can Cuiàs

The house is fully restored and adapted to its new function as a leisure and restaurant. In 1999 they opened a golf course in the grounds of the property.


 

Can Pahissa

Ca n'Albareda

Can Canaris

40 meters to the northeast of the farmhouse of Ca n'Amigó we find this source where we currently find a large reservoir.


 

Source n'Abadal Ca

Cau sunk in the bed of the stream. Accessed by stairs built of brick, like the side walls.


 

Mine Health

It was located at the bottom of the Ermita de la Salut complex and the Masia La Salut bar-restaurant. There is currently no source that disappeared due to remodeling of the accesses.


 

Mina (Source Can Mark on Can Ferriol)

The main feature of the natural mountain springs is that the water that springs from it does so intermittently, depending on the rainfall regime and the filtration of the water with the contact of the limestone with the veins of Ordovician Santa Creu d'Olorda, originates from an inaccessible mine 1m high and 0.5m wide.


 

Mine Tower Abadal

Next to the Tower Abadal is the entrance to the mine carrying water from Puig Olorda the farm.


 

Fornot Towers

Old lime kiln. The lime kilns, being built on calcareous soils, were also baked and as they were used they lost walls, losing about 2 cm per use. That is why over time they were discontinued and made new.


 

Can Bridge Ferriol

This small bridge built in dry stone from the 18th century is located around the property of Can Ferriol next to the Serra stream.


 

Slums Can Ferriol

Within the property of Ca n'Albareda on the slope of Puig d'Olorda are these modest constructions, in which the farmers protected themselves from the inclement weather during the working days in the field.


 

Barracks Can Canaris

On the Can Canaris estate, 9 vineyard huts of different types have been registered. Most are in ruins although there are two huts and a shelter that are in good condition.


 

Barracks of Cerdanet

The park have been recorded stream Cerdanet six different types of cabins. All but one are in ruins shelter.


 

Barracones de La Sànson

On the grounds of the cement factory known as 'La Sànson', 10 huts of different types have been registered. All are in ruins except one hut which is in good condition.
