The July plenary session will take place on Thursday 25, at 6 pm, in the City Council's Plenary Room. It will be possible to follow live through the Portal for reproducing the video minutes and Ràdio Sant Feliu. The agenda includes a total of 32 points, with 1 motion.
One of the highlights will be Silvestre Gilaberte's resignation as councilor, currently in the Government for Neighbors team for Sant Feliu, for whom this will be his last Municipal Plenum. Gilaberte took possession of his position on June 17, 2023, after the formation he led won a councilor in the elections of May 28, 2023. Quim Carcereny will replace the outgoing councilor in the council that he managed until now.
On the other hand, the Municipal Complaints Ombudsman Julia Latorre will present the report corresponding to the year 2023, a document where you can consult the summaries of the files, mediations, ex officio actions, interventions derived from the Complaints Ombudsman of Catalonia and the inquiries made during the past year.
With regard to the motions, SFECP will present a point to claim from ADIF the installation of lifts in the temporary footbridge in the area of Verge de Montserrat. According to the text of the motion, the incorporation of ramps cannot mean the disappearance of the elevators that the original project provided for, and the current result will be difficult to overcome for people with reduced mobility, for the elderly, or for to anyone with mobility difficulties.
Apart from the approval of subsidies to various entities or the regulation of the municipal cemetery, the Municipal Plenum in July also plans to give the green light to the local festivities in 2025, which according to the Government's proposal will be on Monday, June 9, coinciding with the Second Easter, and Friday 10 October, coinciding with the Autumn Festival.
Among the points of the Citizen Service and Open Administration Area is the initial approval of the establishment and regulation of the public service of the Swimming Pool Complex. This approval is based on the supporting report, the establishment project and the draft regulations that will also be attached for approval by the Plenary.
With regard to the Area of Territory, Ecological Transition and Planning, the approval of the cost structure of the road cleaning, collection and waste management contract is contemplated. This will make it possible to establish the own cost structure, and to determine the price review formula for the future contract for the management of this service.
At the July plenary session, the extrajudicial credit recognition of various accounting operations in the different areas of government will also be proposed.
