Born in Sant Feliu de Llobregat on July 10, 1957. Graduate in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and a Diploma in Business Administration from the Open University of Catalonia in the field of Public Administration. Until 1991 he worked in various primary and secondary schools. Member of the National Council of ICV.

Since 1991 Initiative for Catalonia Greens councilor in the City of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, first as an independent and, since 1995, as a militant ICV. Between 1991 and 2003 he was councilman of Education, Planning, Economic Development, Interior and Finance. Between 2003 and 2011 he was councilman in opposition and since December 2007, spokesman of the municipal group of ICV.

On 11 June 2011 was invested mayor for the 2011-2015 term. This period feels especially proud to have launched the social tariff, changing charity to equal opportunities and social justice for having improved the daily lives of Santfeliuenc santfeliuenques and small works and for having Sant Feliu which is a city where everyone has access to basic rights.
