Financial aid for summer activities

The purpose of this call is to enable the application and granting of financial aid to families with dependent children, up to 16 years old, for their participation in summer activities.

This call conforms to the criteria of the general bases that regulate the social economic benefits of the city council of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, approved by the Plenary session of the corporation on February 24, 2022.

It also complies with the specific rules governing calls for the right to apply for social economic benefits complementary to the summer activities approved by the Plenary of the corporation on February 24, 2022.

Grant amount:

In general, families that meet the established financial requirements will enjoy an aid of a maximum of 50 euros/week with a maximum of 5 weeks per child.

In general, the aid is applied for the cost of the basic summer activities, ie in the mornings (except in the Nursery Schools) excluding the reception service, the canteen service and other activities.

Any family nucleus of Sant Feliu de Llobregat can be beneficiary of the subsidies provided that it meets the following requirements:

That the child attends one of the summer activities organized by the City Council or by educational and / or sports entities that have an Agreement with the City Council and that carry out the activities in Municipal Facilities, entities that are currently:

Documents required

Proof of having formalized the registration for the summer activity, for which the grant is requested, duly stamped by the organizing entity.

In the event of opposition to the administration consulting the economic data of some or all of the members of the family over the age of 16, it will be necessary to provide documentation proving the economic situation according to the established parameters and, exceptionally. , in case of not having documentation they will have to make one responsible income statement.

That the annual income of the applicant and his family, which will be consulted in the last income tax return, is equal to or less than:

The maximum annual amount is determined by the sum of the income of all members of the family over the age of 16. These will be obtained from the sum of the general taxable and taxable bases of the savings from the last declaration of disposable income of all eligible members of the family.
If any of the members of the family has not submitted the declaration, because they are not obliged to do so, proof of their income may be made with the imputation certificate provided by the General Tax Agency, or with any other supporting documentation that the 'City Council considers sufficient.

Exceptionally, if they do not have this documentation, they will have to declare responsible income so that the technical staff of social services can assess the need for this help.

1. The father and mother of the child, or the guardian or person in charge of custody, and the unmarried siblings under the age of 25 who live in the same family are considered eligible members. address at the time of formalizing the application.

In the event of separation or divorce of the parents, a person who does not live with the aid applicant will not be considered a eligible member. However, the new spouse or person united by a similar relationship (common-law partner) will be considered a eligible member and, therefore, their income will be included in the calculation of family income.

In the event of separation or divorce, this assistance can always be requested by both the father and / or mother of the child, and when they do not duplicate the application on the same dates as the activity, and meet the requirements of the bases.

2. IRSC: The Income Sufficiency Indicator of Catalonia (IRSC) is the monthly amount that the Autonomous Administration has established to cover the basic needs for the subsistence of a person. Taking this indicator as a reference and depending on the number of members that make up the family unit, the minimum amount that a family will have to receive to determine the coverage of their basic needs is determined.

Deadline for resolution

The City Council will evaluate all the submitted applications and establish the families to which the aid is granted, as well as the amount of the same, in accordance with the criteria established.

The approval of these grants will be made by the Local Government Board and communicated to each one of the families and organizing entities.
